Vision
The stencilled vitreous enamel flowers are made in appreciation for the jasmine flower, a common sight in our region. Native to Andalucia, the flower’s design endlessly inspires our studio.
Technique
Each flower has been hand saw-pierced from copper sheet, sanded and drilled. Each flower has enamel applied by hand and is kiln fired, this process is repeated approximately 6 times per flower. Hand-made sterling silver rings are used to connect the flowers, the rings are soldered. Hand-made sterling silver earring wires are soldered onto the first flower. The flowers are cleaned free of oxides caused by the soldering process and finally polished.
