Studio & Practice

Manual art is the foundation of Sirocco Studios, detailed in every layer of our practice. Offering an escape from the fast-paced modern lifestyle, the space is guided through feeling and conceptual intention.

Craft & Design

The craft of Sirocco Jewellery is defined by vitreous enamel. This ancient technique is slow, requiring patience, attention and skill. Meticulous control and multiple firings is required to achieve the desired depth of colour. The technique has been historically used in the creation of both fine jewellery and sacred objects; speaking to a commitment of refinement and permanence.

Each piece is designed and crafted in-house by enameller Kay Hammond, using heritage techniques such as plique-à-jour and cloisonné. Each design begins as a sketch and is refined through a process-driven craft of making. Designed for versatility, many pieces are double-sided or reversible.

Journal: The Map

An a-period publication focused on analogue processes, Sirocco Journal platforms essays, conversations and visual stories. Working closely with international collaborators, the journal platforms honest dialogue and discovery. As an expansion of the journal, The Arcade is a non-linear and decentralised space with the mission to promote meaningful work in the fields of photography, art and design.
